MEDIATION

Florida Attorney Claude J. Greenfield is pleased to announce the addition of Family and Circuit Mediation to his practice areas. Claude J. Greenfield has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family and Circuit Mediator and is trained and qualified to mediate foreclosure cases as well as family law matters.  

ADOPTIONS

Attorney Claude J. Greenfield handles private and relative adoptions under Florida Statute Chapter 63.

Mr. Greenfield acts as liaison between all parties and ensures that all requirements are met while maintaining confidentiality in the process.  
With an Adoption Plan, prospective adoptive parents can agree to provide assistance to the Birth mother to help her during her pregnancy.  

Florida statute 63.097(2) provides:
(a) Reasonable living expenses of the birth mother which the birth mother is unable to pay due to unemployment, underemployment, or disability. Reasonable living expenses are rent, utilities, basic telephone service, food, toiletries, necessary clothing, transportation, insurance, and expenses found by the court to be necessary for the health and well-being of the birth mother and the unborn child. Such expenses may be paid during the pregnancy and for a period of up to 6 weeks postpartum.
(b) Reasonable and necessary medical expenses. Such expenses may be paid during the pregnancy and for a period of up to 6 weeks.

As an intermediary, Mr. Greenfield ensures that all litigation is accurate, timely and complete, Including the requirements of the Department of Children and Families, Department of Health
Office of Vital Statistics, and the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children.
